CHILDREN’S RIGHTS IN A PANDEMIC
The Children’s Rights stream provides a platform for the dissemination and knowledge exchange of the latest children’s rights research. We welcome papers exploring children’s rights from a methodological, ethical, theoretical and normative perspective at local, national, European or international level. This year, in light of the current global situation, the stream particularly welcomes papers addressing issues focusing on the impact of the COVID-19/coronavirus pandemic on children’s rights.
Papers may focus on theoretical research, conceptual research, or empirical research or the challenges of gathering research data in a pandemic or applying children’s rights to the coronavirus pandemic context.
We are also keen to host a panel showcasing new research projects, either those underway or those yet to start!
There is also a possibility of hosting a panel of recently published books or other publications (from the last 2 years) which have had an impact on children’s rights, either from an academic or practice-based perspective.
We welcome papers from researchers at any stage of their postgraduate career and in any discipline, which intersects with children’s rights.
